Now that I finished the dog collars for the gal in Canada, I have a few projects that I’ve been wanting to get started on. I made a spur-of-the-moment to swing by the leather shop this morning and planned on staying a few minutes to look at some goodies. But that’s like sending me in to an ice cream shop and asking me what my favorite flavor is.
Lucky for me, it was early in the morning and I was the only customer in the store. Tony spent some time with me teaching me a few new tricks, showing me things I had never seen before and unintentionally selling me on a whole bunch of stuff that I never knew I wanted.
Two hours later (yes, 2 hours), I left the store with a lighter wallet but a whole lot more to think about and practice. And with the right tools to practice with now, it should be fun!
Just for a sneak peek – this is what I’ve been working on today. It’s great for the mathmetician & perfectionist in me. And the mallet I use isn’t the lightest thing in the studio so it’s like a little mini-workout all at the same time.
